About Mecosta County

Adjacent to the Manistee National Forest, Mecosta County offers nature lovers many exploring opportunities. Only 57 miles north of Grand Rapids, Mecosta County is not far from anywhere you want to be, it is easily accessible from all directions with three major highways to lead you here, M66, M20 and US131. The county seat of Big Rapids and the surrounding communities offer businesses excellent transportation links, as well as more space for construction and expansion.
