1. Sponsor
This giveaway is sponsored by the Mecosta County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), located in Big Rapids, Michigan.
2. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
3.Eligibility
Open to individuals 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
Must be a legal resident of the United States
Void where prohibited by law
Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the Mecosta County CVB are not eligible to win
4. Entry Period
Entries will be accepted beginning during Blessing of the Bikes weekend in May 2026 and wood prize will be awarded Sunday May 17, 2027
Entries will remain eligible for the season-end drawing through December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM (EST)
The winner will be selected and announced on or about January 1, 2027
5. How to Enter
Complete the official online entry form
All required fields must be completed to qualify for entry
Limit one (1) entry per person unless otherwise specified
Duplicate or incomplete entries may be disqualified
6. Prizes
Event Prize: One (1) custom wood plaque (awarded during Blessing of the Bikes weekend)
Grand Prize: One (1) $500 Visa Gift Card
Prizes:
Have no cash value beyond stated amount
Are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged
Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary
7. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received
Decisions of the Mecosta County CVB are final
8. Winner Notification
Winner will be notified via the email address provided on the entry form
Winner must respond within 72 hours of notification
If the winner:
Does not respond within 72 hours
Is found to be ineligible
Fails to comply with these rules
Winner will forfeit prize
9. Publicity Release
By entering, participants agree to allow the Mecosta County CVB to use their:
Name
City/state
Photo (if provided or taken at event) for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Data Collection & Privacy
Information collected from entrants will be used by the Mecosta County CVB and affiliates for:
Administering the giveaway
Contacting winners
Marketing and tourism outreach (if participant opts in)
The CVB will not sell or share personal information with third parties outside of partners assisting in giveaway administration.
11. General Conditions
The Mecosta County CVB reserves the right to:
Cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical issues, or other factors impair its integrity
Disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules
12. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Mecosta County CVB and its:
Employees Board members Partners Affiliates
from any claims, damages, or liability arising from: Participation in the giveaway Acceptance or use of any prize
13. Technical Issues
The Mecosta County CVB is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
Technical failures of any kind, including website or internet issues
Unauthorized human intervention
14. Governing Law
This giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located within Michigan.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Except where prohibited by law, by entering this giveaway, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed-upon arbitration service, conducted in the State of Michigan.
Participants waive the right to:
File a lawsuit in court (except for small claims court where applicable)
Participate in a class action or class-wide proceeding
Each participant agrees that:
Any claims will be brought only in their individual capacity
The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding
