1. Eligibility:
- The Mecosta County Football & Stay Giveaway (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the Mecosta County Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCCVB), their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
- The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
2. Contest Period:
- The Contest begins on September 1, 2024, at 12:00 AM (ET) and ends on October 1, 2024, at 11:59 PM (ET) (“Contest Period”).
3. How to Enter:
- To enter, participants must submit a valid official contest entry form provided by MCCVB HERE
- By entering, participants agree to receive occasional promotional email communications from MCCVB.
- Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
4. Winner Selection:
- One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
- The drawing will take place on or before October 10, 2024. The winner will be notified via the email address and/or phone number provided at the time of entry.

5. Winner Notification:
- The winner will be announced on the MCCVB Facebook page and contacted directly by MCCVB by October 10, 2024.
- The winner must respond to the notification within 48 hours. If the winner does not respond within this time frame, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
- The winner must present a valid ID when claiming their prize. The name on the ID must match the name provided in the contest entry.
6. Prize:
- The prize includes a one-night hotel stay at a designated hotel in Mecosta County, 4 tickets to a Ferris Football game, $50 Meijer Gift Card, $25 Old Pioneer Store Gift Certificate, and $25 Dinner gift certificate
- The winner is responsible for all transportation, meals, gratuities, and any other incidental expenses incurred in connection with the prize.
- The winner must present a valid credit card upon check-in at the hotel to cover any incidental charges. The winner must also agree to comply with all hotel policies.
7. Conditions of Participation:
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the MCCVB and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the prize.
- The winner agrees to allow MCCVB to use their name, likeness, and any other information provided in connection with the Contest for promotional purposes without further compensation.
8. General Conditions:
- MCCVB reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond MCCVB’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by MCCVB in its sole discretion.
- MCCVB reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
9. Limitation of Liability:
- MCCVB is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
10. Disputes:
- Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Mecosta County, Michigan.
- All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and MCCVB in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.
11. Sponsor:
- The Contest is sponsored by the Mecosta County Convention and Visitors Bureau, located at 127 S State Street, Big Rapids, MI 49307.
12. Privacy:
- Personal information collected from entrants will be used by MCCVB for the purpose of administering the Contest, and in accordance with MCCVB’s privacy policy.
By entering this Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
