2021 marks the 100th birthday of Francoise Gilot, painter, printmaker, writer, poet, mother and grandmother.
Francoise, mother to two of Picasso's children is an incredible artist throughout her life. She studied and collaborated with many of the European avant guarde artists of the early 20th Century. She presented at Ferris in 1971. Some of the work in this exhibit was hand pulled while on campus and donated to the University.
Dr. Adrian Ormsby, Art Historian will present to the Humanities Colloquium via zoom about the life and work of Francoise.
