Explore the creative art of printmaking in this hands-on workshop!
Under the guidance of experienced instructor Ruth Vermeer, you'll learn the fundamentals of gel plate printing. Using a variety of materials, including paint, stencils, and paper, you'll experiment with layering techniques to create unique and expressive prints.
About Ruth Vermeer:
Ruth Vermeer has a passion for the process of how various art forms are made. While she always cherished her dream of becoming an art teacher, her journey has led her to a fulfilling career path. Her B.S. in Home Economics Education prepared her to teach at Artworks, while her M.S. in Parks and Recreation Administration provided valuable experience in the camping industry and later as Artworks' former Education Director.
This workshop is intended for adults.
Two separate sessions are offered.
